These terms govern your use of Aquarium Tracker ("the app"), developed and published by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.
The app
Aquarium Tracker is a tool for logging aquarium water parameters, maintenance reminders, livestock, equipment, and related notes. It's intended to help hobbyists keep track of their tanks — it is not professional aquatic, veterinary, or scientific advice. Always use your own judgment and research when caring for your animals and plants.
Calculators and guidance in the app (such as the stocking guide) are rough estimates only, not guarantees, and should not replace proper research into the specific needs of your species.
Accounts
You need to sign in with a Google account to use the app, so your data can sync across your devices. You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive or unlawful purposes.
Free tier and subscriptions
The app offers a free tier (limited to one tank, with ads shown) and an optional "Pro" subscription (unlimited tanks, no ads, and additional tools like target-range alerts, calculators, and reports), billed via Google Play Billing.
- Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You can cancel anytime through your Google Play subscriptions settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prices are shown in-app before purchase and may change; you'll be notified in advance of any price change affecting an active subscription, as required by Google Play policy.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's own refund policies, not by us directly.
Your content
You retain ownership of the data you enter into the app (tank details, readings, notes, photos, etc). We store it on your behalf to provide the service, and we do not claim ownership over it. See our Privacy Policy for how it's stored and protected.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it for unauthorized purposes, or use it to store unlawful content.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or harm to livestock resulting from reliance on the app's calculators or reminders.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different jurisdiction is required by applicable consumer protection law where you live.
